Museum of Tomorrow Celebrates 8 Years with Black Bom ball

The Black Bom Ball with Neighbors of Tomorrow will shake the Museum of Tomorrow on December 16th, starting at 5 pm. The event, held in partnership with  Black Bom Ball - a cultural movement born in Quilombo Pedra do Sal in 2013 - is free and intended for the neighbors of Little Africa (regions of Saúde, Gamboa, Santo Cristo, Morros da Conceição, Livramento, Pinto, and Providência), but also open to the general public. The review will also feature a gastronomic fair by Sabores do Porto and will bring together local entrepreneurs in gastronomy, fashion, and crafts. The agenda is part of a series of activities developed in the Neighbors of Tomorrow Relationship Program, which aims to engage the neighboring audiences in the collective construction process of Tomorrow through cultural and mobilization programs. The goal is to create enriching experiences that contribute to the constant construction of new identities and the appreciation of life.

On the other hand, Play Is Science - 8th Anniversary Commemorative Edition of the Museum brings a series of free activities for various age groups (0 to 11 years) and the whole family. Sponsored by ArcelorMittal, the agenda aims to speak about science through play and work experimentation as a powerful tool for the relationship with the world we live in.

"We complete another year of existence, strengthening our fundamental pillars, including coexistence and the construction of better and more sustainable tomorrows. It is very special to be able to work on these concepts through music, the relationship with our neighbors, and experiences that bring us closer to children and their families on such a significant date for our entire team," celebrates Bruna Baffa, General Director of the Museum of Tomorrow.
