From May 2014 to November 2015, IDG was responsible for developing, establishing and then managing the Santana and Macaxeira Urban Parks in Recife, affirming the institute’s commitment to sustainability and environmental preservation. Under IDG’s management, the two parks were properly equipped with the infrastructure needed to provide educational programs, environmental awareness initiatives and leisure activities for the public. This contributed to the Santana and Macaxeira Parks being successfully integrated as important hubs for preserving the city’s green areas and local biodiversity. IDG was honored to contribute to elevating the population of Recife’s quality of life, as well as adding value to the parks’ surrounding areas and renewing public perceptions.
